Sudanese Omar Ahmad Kuri has come a long way. He arrived as a refugee, has since risen to the position of chief fitter in his company and has started a family in Emsland.

Came to stay
Kuri has been working with us since 2017. The qualified teacher fled from Sudan. Across the sea. Like countless others. Kuri has arrived. He has found a second home with us. It's hard to imagine the team without him. The Meppener Tagespost reported on his story - and the district also became aware of him.
